Systems Change Advocacy
What is Systems Change? Systems change starts with a strong community. We must all come together to create the changes that we wish to see in the world. CIL's online community can be found at CIL Chatter, to get started register here. Stop in and tell us about the issues that matter most to you!
Systems change is about working toward a set of larger changes that benefit the entire community instead of a single change that benefits an indivpidual person, or handfull of people. Instead of building a ramp to one house you advocate for enough accessible annd affordable housing that everyone has a place to live. Instead of pushing for one student to get a note taker you advocate for all students to have access to the accommodations and supports they need to succeed. To stay up dated on what CIL is doing check out our blog!
How do you fit in? We all have to work together to create the changes we want to see in the world. Each one of us has something important to contribute, whether it's writting a letter to the editor, getting involved in city council meetings, or organizing your community around a cause that you believe in.
Whah issues do you want to see CIL working on? Be sure to let us know on CIL Chatter. To register click here, Account Registration.
