Personal Attendant Services

CIL provides Personal Attendant Services to consumers through a private pay registry. We interview and screen the attendants as well as intake the consumer in need of the service. We essentially assist in mediating and connecting the parties to assist fostering a good ongoing working relationship.

We provide Personal Attendant Services through:

  • 1 on 1 counseling
  • Housing assistance in conjunction with our housing department
  • Information and referrals to other agencies in the community
  • Counseling and other support groups/workshops
  • Collaboration with IHSS
  • Personal Attendant class offered twice a year
  • A wide variety of other disability related issues
