Managing Attendants Workshop

Personal Attendant Referrals
The Center for Independent Living provides Personal Attendant Services to consumers through a private pay registry. We interview and screen the attendants as well as intake the consumer in need of the service.
CIL runs an on-line registry called quickmatch.org. This database will help you quickly and efficiently find the best provider for your needs. In order to be a quickmatch.org user, you only need to be a CIL consumer, and have an email account.
We provide Personal Attendant Services through:
- Listing providers on the quickmatch.org registry
- 1 on 1 counseling
- Guidance and training with quickmatch.org
- Information and referrals to other agencies in the community
- Personal Attendant Management Support Groups/Workshops
PAS Objectives
CIL’s objective is to support consumers as they gain independence by guiding them toward goal achievement and helping them attain living skills. Because choices are a big part of being independent, the goal of PAS is to empower consumers to choose their own personal attendant and manage them in order to gain independence at home and remain active in their community.
CIL is constantly updating quickmatch.org with new listings for qualified Personal Attendants.
