Each ramp that CIL installs, free of charge to low-income Berkeley residents, costs between $5,000 and $7,000. Because they’re so expensive, CIL is limited in the number it can build.
Friends of CIL
The Friends of CIL is a volunteer group comprised of a diverse cross section of the community that works in collaboration with the Board of Directors to develop and host special events and community outreach projects for CIL.
